My second pair of batteries had come to the end of their useful lives after about three years, so I bought a replacement pair from Amazon.com. The batteries did not seem to have as much power after fully charged. (My crude test for the power is to grab the drill chuck wearing leather glove and see if I succeed at making the drill not being able to turn with the trigger slowly pulled all the way in. Be careful though, as the spinning chuck held tight will heat up the leather very quickly if you are not able to keep the chuck still.) I was able to stop the chuck from turning without having to grab the chuck with all might. After about three cycles of full discharge/charge, the batteries stopped holding enough power to drive more than two two and half inch screws into fir. Amazon.com sent me a replacement set and this set is not as strong as my first two pairs, but better than the first from Amazon.com. I have not used the batteries yet, but I feel that the quality control might be the culprit here.

these things are...
sweet. I mean the tools that are powered by these batteries. I'm a home repair carpenter and my Makita impact driver and drill set are by far my most used tools. The original batteries lasted 4 years + of daily use and I expect 4 more years from these replacements. Ive lent this set, drill and impact, to probably 10 guys on sites and most of the fellows have bought the same set within the week. The replacement batteries charge quickly and run quite a while.

drill is good, batteries are pathetic
I got this drill in a combo pack in Dec 2006 with the circular saw, reciprocating saw and light. The battery packs have pathetic life on the saws.
The battery packs also barely hold their charge after a year.
The drill is good. Personally I would now go for the Ryobi LiON or the Ryobi sets which can also be used with LiON batteries.

Unlike many cordless drills, the contacts in the drill and saws are easy to get to. So attaching an external 18V DC power source should be easy.
I might see if I can attach an external battery pack like I did with my Bosch Bulldog.

I just bought a townhouse. Anyone who owns their own place needs their own cordless drill/driver. I chose this one over the other brands for no particular reason. I like red. I was encouraged when the guys bringing in the new washer/dryer had this exact drill and it had obviously seen a lot of wear and tear. I figured if they thought it was good enough for work, it's probably good enough for home!

I have now put up curtain rods on 7 windows and 2 glass doors, installed a washing machine, assembled a couple pieces of furniture, installed some closet rods and I forget what else. I'm tired but the drill is still on its first battery charge. I picked up the Skil 84-piece bit set to go with it and have had drills and bits for everything, including wonky do-it-yourself furniture (threw away the hex key, used the cordless drill and hex bits instead).

It seems like a really nice drill and the fact that it comes with 2 batteries is nice. Get this and a good drilling and driving set to go with it and you'll be well on your way to do-it-yourselfville.

Love It
Plenty of torque, battery carries a good charge and since it comes with a second battery, I simply switch out the batteries at the end of each use. The battery charger hanges nicely on wall making for easy change outs and unlike other bit storage grips I've used the one on this drill actually holds the bit securely when not in use.

I'm a very satisfied customer and this is well worth the price.

Best Laminate Trimmer available
The Bosch Colt PR20 is by far the best Trimmer you can buy.

I recently purchased a second unit because my first Colt is now being used on my CNC Shark.

On my first unit (about 2 years old), the shaft lock button was virtually useless. I haven't tried the new router, just purchased, to see if it has been redesigned. I did have to buy a thin 10mm wrench in order to be able to change bits.

The good news is, Bosch now includes a 10mm wrench with the router so you no longer have to buy one. It is much easier and safer to use two wrenches instead of the shaft lock button anyway. Much easier to tighten and certainly way easier to loosen the bit.

If you need a Trimmer or small router, do not hesitate buying the Bosch colt. I enjoy using my Colt so much that I purchased all of the sub-bases, Template Guides and Centering Cone for it.

Just keep in mind it is a Trimmer. It isn't designed to hog out chunks of wood (although it is a pretty capable router).

Excellent router for multiple tasks Wood and Aluminum
I own five routers not counting this one and I like this one the best. Most routers are too big for a lot of cabinet work. I have an old style Black & Decker router that's small and compact but I've completely worn it out and was looking for a suitable replacement. I selected the Bosch variable speed.

Here's what I liked:
1. Its just the right size for most of my cabinet finishing jobs. I even use it to trim aluminum housing with a straight 3/16" HS steel bit.
2. Its quiet, most routers are excessively noisy. The variable speed is must for any router I believe. Most routers turn way to fast and for no apparent reason as far as I can tell for most applications.
3. Its easy to adjust precisely with the vernier thumb height adjustment.
4. Collet release is quick and easy. The built in shaft clamp works well and whatever the previous problems mayb have been have been fixed. Mine even came with two wrenches, one for the collet and another to hold the shaft. The shaft wrench isn't necessary as far as I can tell.

Bosch PR20EVSK Handheld Small Router
I selected this brand and model in part because of favorable reviews in several woodworking magazine product comparisons. I was not disappointed in my choice - I have been using the router almost daily for about a month and love it. Some features I particularly like are the ease of removal of the base - unlatch, twist and it's off. Arbor lock makes bit removal a one-wrench operation. There is good visibility of the bit for following layout lines, especially if you use a transparent base plate. The small horsepower and soft start make it easy to control for fine work but it has sufficient power to cut cleanly if you don't force deep cuts. Overall, the router has a solid quality feel - but not too heavy - and is not a plastic toy like some cheaper brands.

A few minor complaints: There are double arrows embossed to facilitate alignment when re-connecting the base and motor. They are not easy to see - I used some red paint to highlight them better. Also, the optional round base plate which is compatible with the Porter-Cable router template guides does not center well at all - I think the screw holes are slightly out of aligment with the center.

Pleased w/ Saw
Sawzall has plenty of power. Quickloc chuck makes it easy to intstall & remove blades.Tracks well for accurate cuts. Cut five 10' aluminum loading dock gates in half accurately, no binding w/ power to spare. Saw shipped minus the wood blade. Called Milwaukee & they shipped a blade within 3 days, in fact they even sent a spare. My next power tool will be a Milwaukee even if I have to pay a little more for it, in this case the saw was very reasonibly priced.

quality/price
first I'd like to say that amazon has great speed in deliveries needed asap! Crucial need for this tool, arrived next day delivery, used next day. Special cut out needed, sawzall worked great for 11 amps, saved me time and money.
not as high power as 15 amp, but I could not tell. Maybe not for 8hr a day six days a week...perfect for my needs.
ps don't be afraid of reconditioned, they are guarateed! pss need an airless spray gun for painting your house...try the reconditioned wagner pait crew about $100.00 through AMAZON. I'm not paid by amazon!!!

Well made and economical unit
While I am not a woodworking expert, I have enjoyed getting to know this tool. It seems very well made for the price point. As has been mentioned, it is lacking some of the finer features of high end units, but has been an excellent entry level router. I have used this as both hand held and bench mounted and it seems to have all the power I need. The switch location has been mentioned as a problem, so I have been VERY careful about how I hold the router when switching ON and OFF. Obviously this is not an issue when table mounted. I would highly recommend this router.

Almost perfect for hand held use
This 1-3/4hp router is just about perfect for hand held use. It's relatively lightweight, compact and rugged. The self releasing collets make stuck bits a thing of the past. Fine adjustments in height are a bit more difficult with the lever release base compared to the old style since it's a bit tricky to make the base tight enough to prevent slop and loose enough to allow adjustment, but the quick action and secure hold make up for that to some extent. The best feature is the anti rotation feature. Anyone who's ever forgotten to tighten the lock on a table mounted router knows how scary a loose router can be. With this base, the router will rotate down but not fall out of the base when turned on with the base unlocked. Removing the router from the base is still quick and easy.

One of the great Wonder Tools that which offer big tool function with small tool convenience.
If you're thinking of giving this as a gift but hesitating on the questions, "But what will (s)he use it for?" and "Does (s)he really need a Dremel tool?" then go ahead and give it to them and see how much they love it. Like a Swiss Army Knife, it's so handy, of such high quality, and has so many varied uses that anyone who gets one will invent uses for it and/or it will be more useful than you could have possibly estimated. Again, to compare it to the Swiss Army Knife, the Dremel tool is an all around Wonder Tool that you will invent applications for. Whether you're a handy person in the workshop or might use it for some artistic purpose, this is a great item to have.

I'm absolutely blown away by how well this thing works at cutting and grinding metal without having to buy a more expensive model.

PRO: It comes equipt with every possible basic wheel and bit, with plenty more available to do everything from grind, cut, and polish various materials to etching glass.

The two speeds of this model are plenty. I cut the steel, hollow legs off of something on the 20,000 RPM setting without much trouble--except for the battery life of course.

The unit is light and easy to handle for even detailed work.

The motor doesn't heat up the unit too much, so it doesn't become too hot to handle.

CON: The only one con is the battery life. If you need to use your Dremel for more than, say, 30 minutes to do the harder work of cutting and rounding off edges you should either get one with better battery life or buy at least one extra battery for this one--or else of course you could get a corded one, but that's really best for people who are going to use their Dremels entirely in one spot, such as at a workbench. I believe the next model up has a lithium battery and offers more speeds besides, but doesn't come with as many bits and wheels right out of the box the way this one does.

BOTTOM LINE: Put plainly, this thing is so friggin awesome that you don't really need an excuse to get one. Anyone can use a Dremel tool. It's fun and handy, and one of the best all around tools you could ever get.

This is an essential for any basic tool kit for any home.

gets the job done ... when I can hold her down ...
My dog hates it, and actually runs when she sees it, but I love it! After I hold her down and bribe her with treats, the drill really gets the job done. I have to be careful not to hold the drill on one spot too long or else her nail gets to hot. I like the cordless feature ... I can chase her down! Good luck ... wish I had this when she was a puppy so that she'd be more used to it. Come to think of it, I think I'll give her a trim now ... come out come out where ever you are roxygirl ....

Wouldn't recommend it for dog nail trimming.
I bought this Dremel because it was recommended as a good dog nail trimmer for fearful dogs. My older dog goes spastic at having her nails trimmed and I had hoped she would let me use this to trim her nails. She did not, as hard as I tried. I think it is because it is too loud. I would not recommend this for any dog that has fears of nail trimming. This tool is not the answer.

Darn Good Heater
I read the reviews on this product carefully and I salute all who took the time to give it a fair rating. Thankfully, I knew that the heater would carry an odor for a while. I ran it in the garage for a couple of days, but it really took a good week for the smell to dissipate completely. The unit takes a little while to heat, but we have a vaulted ceiling in the master bath. It is very nice to awake to a comfortable room that is normally freezing.

The timer works well despite being a little complicated- it's similar to a light timer with on/off settings using military time. If you want to turn in on at a time not pre-programmed, you must rotate the timer control clockwise to a time when the heater is set to start. Then you have to reset the correct time on the timer to get back to the previous scheduled on/off times.

I have not had the unit long enough to see an impact on our electric bill. We normally have it set to go on a half-hour prior to waking and throughout showers. We have it set again to go on just before bed. The unit does get pretty hot to the touch on the top, but common sense will prevent problems. It works quite well and I am very satisfied.

Delonghi oil electric heater
This particular unit I purchased for an area of my dog room. It keeps the room warm with it on higher than the others. That is probably because there is also an exhaust fan in the room going on at intervals. I do have to use a bit of propane if it drops below 0 out but that is ok. The electric bill with these units, which I bought 3 more is over $200 less a month than my propane bill is. The propane went up to around 553. a fill up and the electric is around 317. for the month. By the way the propane will probably be for a month of heating. So I did save some money. Plus we are a lot warmer than we were with the propane, the heat stays more in the lower area of the room and does not go up to the ceiling right away were we freeze right away. I do have seperate propane heaters in the rooms but the drafts are always taking the best of us. I have a house that is underground and no one had put insulation in the walls at all. I know underground is maybe a bit warmer but in this case it is still drafty with the rest of the house that is showing above ground. So I do think this is the better way to go financially and for keeping warmer.

Great investment!
This was a great investment! I say investment because the price is a little high but we paid for quality. We have what is supposed to be the same thing in a different brand and it just isn't as effective. It warms our space well and doesn't get extremely hot to the touch, which is important with a little one crawling around. The only downfall to this product we have experienced is that sometimes when you are rolling it, one or two of the wheels fold under and it almost tips. If you are just careful you probably won't even experience this.

Great product - excellent pour!
The pour is awesome. it's NO DRIP. It fits conveniently next to my fridge. The shape is perfect.

Again, the best feature is the NO DRIP pour! I can pull it down until it locks, let go, it fills up my pitcher, then i turn it off and wait for a drip - but there's NONE! no drip! no water on the ground baby!!!

Best Water Ever!
I am not usually that crazy about water, but this product has made me a water fan. The water tastes better! It's good stuff....

YOU MUST GET THIS!!!
I cannot recommend this filter enough! Where I live, the tap stinks of chlorine and literally tastes bitter, and when I drink it, even after boiling it, I get stomach pains. Suffice it to say, I haven't tried drinking raw tap water. I needed a good filter, and because the filters that hook up to the faucet are notoriously slow to let down water (and yes, I'm impatient), I needed something better. This was the right choice for several reasons:

1.) It is the most complete commercially available filter you can get in terms of what it filters out (mercury, bacterial cysts, all sorts of industrial/chemical/farm compounds, lead, chlorine, and a lot more).

2.) A new filter will realatively quickly filter the water. The best part about it is, I can fill it up with 3 liters of water to filter out, and it will do so in about 10-15 minutes. Then, I'll have 3 liters of filtered water that can be quickly released from the bottom compartment (solving my impatience issue). As long as I remember to fill up the upper portion so the filter has something to do and I have clean water.

3.) The taste of water form this thing, I kid you not, is incredible! The only water I have tasted to be as good as this was the very expensive Fiji bottled water or water I drank from a pristine underground aquifer in Russia. It is, without a doubt, sweet in taste. Not sugary sweet, just pleasantly clean sweet.

This will be a wise investment for any home. The filter lasts about 2 months for one person drinking about 4 liters per day (which is my average).

The only downside is, this thing doesn't filter Arsenic...which unfortunately is found in public water to this day.

Leatherman clips
These are great! Makes the leatherman even more handy, without having to use a case etc. I like them. Just what I wanted. Real easy to snap on and they do hold, like premanent.

leatherman wave pocket clip
Great idea and I carry mine every day but the clip allows the tool to sit below the lip of the pocket you put it in. This makes it difficult to take out of your pocket with one hand. I'm going to try and wrap some 550 cord around the top part of the clip so it doesnt go so deep into the pocket. Overall, I say this is a must-have if you carry a leatherman wave.

Good ring, bad clip
I've had my wave for about five years and had a classic Leatherman for about ten before that. I've always loved the leather holsters but recently the snap on the holster for my wave gave up the ghost. Fortunate for me, I thought, that I had bought the lanyard ring and pocket clip set! I like the lanyard ring quite a bit--the quick-release functionality works really well and is superior to the well hidden lanyard ring already on the Wave. After the holster died, I decided to switch to the pocket clip--it's a pocket knife after all. Not three days after switching to the pocket clip (which takes the space of the lanyard ring so they can't be used simultaneously) I sat down, heard a "Sproing!" noise and felt the sharp points of my now broken pocket clip digging into my hip. I'll be sure to make use of the fairly generous 25 year warranty on Leatherman products but I don't think I'd recommend anyone buy this unless they just want the quick-release ring.

Exactly what I needed
I needed to clean up the mess of wires and power cubes around my desk, and this Belkin does the job perfectly. If you have several wall-warts, you probably won't get use of all 12 outlets even with the Pivot-Plugs. They are fairly close together. With a little effort, I have no problem with any of the plugs not fitting into any of the outlets as some people have claimed. The basic surge protection is an added bonus, just don't expect to collect on the so-called $300K guarantee though. There are many loop holes, and many have tried and failed to collect on these promises for surge protector failures.

I do not know what some reviewers are talking about with the top outlets being hard to plug into because this is one of the best surge protectors and really cleans up the cluttered wires behind your equipment.

If you have this many wires and like having things with features that others do not have this is the surge protector for you.

If you are shopping for a thermostat that works great and it's easy to use you are in the right place. This thermostat delivers what promises. If you want to change the day while programming just tap on the day. If you want to change the time of the day, tap on it. Someone wrote that it was hard to program....that's because it has several programs:D If you select the preprogrammed settings you may find it chilly in your home.

Very Good Programmable Thermostat
This thermostat was very easy to install and program and is doing its job well. The other Amazon reviews were very helpful in alerting me so some of its small programming quirks.

My system is very simple: a forced-hot-water heating system with the thermostat controlling the circulator pump. I took off the old mechanical programmable thermostat, connected the two wires to this thermostat following the clear instructions in the manual, screwed the new thermostat in place, and programmed in the desired schedule. The whole process took less than an hour (including a thorough reading the manual).

My only complaint about this thermostat is that it does not have a vacation feature that allows one to set an override temperature for a specified period of time (for example, remain at 55 degrees for 13 days and 7 hours while I'm away on vacation or 60 degrees for 8 hours while I'm out for the day).

Very Easy To Use
I haven't used a lot of other thermostats like this, but this is quite easy to use. It takes a while to program it...but daily use is SO very easy that it's worth it. I really recommend it. It looks very nice.

Not what I expected, also had a fan
This unit arrived with a broken car-adapter cord. Not sure if this means it was cheap (probably) or was a really old unit that had sat in storage for a long time. Also, it appeared to have a small fan, something I'd been trying to avoid.

Instead, I ended-up purchasing a similar looking model in-store someplace. It was another "400W" model and cost more ($60) but I was able to confirm beforehand that it had no fan. Sorry, can't remember the brand or model.

Product works great. Xantrex products work. I tried other brands with same specs and had to returne them all because they would not power the portable DVD player.

An incredibly handy tool!
I got this for Christmas a few years back, and it's served me faithfully since.

Leatherman is a local company (I live in Washington State, Leatherman is in Oegon), and they make excellent products backed by lifetime warranties. I've never owned Leatherman products before I got the Micra, and I am very impressed!

This is one of the handiest tools I've ever owned or used. I've owned Swiss-Army knives for 15 years, and they are handy, but for its size, the Micra is handier! My Swiss Champ (made by Victorinox) comes close, but it's so bulky that I don't carry it around much anymore. I take this instead.

It's got a lot of features in a tiny package. The 10 tools are stored in or on the handles. You get scissors, a nail cleaner, file, micro flat-blade and philips screwdrivers, tweezers, a large flat blade screw driver, a small knife blade, and a ruler on the sides of the handles.

The great thing about this tool, is all the tools are useful, and they work! The scissors work great for small chores, as do the knife blade, file, and other tools. The Micra is constructed of stainless steel inside and out. It's sturdy, and well built, which is common with leatherman's products. The knife blade holds its edge well, and is easily sharpened.

The only problem I've had with it was the scissors. They got dull (you cannot sharpen them, so don't try) so I sent it back to Leatherman and they sent me a replacement. No questions asked. How's that for customer service?

A great addition to any glove box, purse, junk drawer, tool box, pocket or key ring.

Nice little tool
It's a great little tool that fits in your pocket. The philips head screwdriver is less that great, however. It didn't fit anything I tried it on well enough to do the job. Other parts work well.

Get one!
Great idea! I keep one in my camera bag. It really comes in handy for family trips.

Don't waste your money...
After 3 different attempts and 4 Men trying to move my armoire, I bought this "Forearm Forklift"...I should have sent it back immediately. When I first moved the Armoire, I did it myself...I slid it across the wood floors...but after I had my floors refinished, I could not utilize the same technique anymore...I needed to move it "without" scratching the floors this time. We tried furniture felt, and sliders and then sliders with covers on them...nothing worked...and this didn't either....you have to be superman to lift this armoire even an inch off the floor....we just laughed the whole time at the "Forearm Forklift"...what a joke...and they try showing people moving stuff up stairs??? we couldn't move this Armoire 15 feet!...( we finally did by using the sliders and re-attaching the covers every 5-10 inches because they kept sliding off the sliders)...anyways this was a waste of money!

Not used yet.
Haven't had to use them yet, but anything's better than trying to lift heavy objects and breaking your back.

How did I manage without ?
What a brilliant idea - simple and easy to use. Two people can carry heavy appliances, cartons and awkwardly shaped objects. The straps fit just below the elbow, so the load is carried in the same plane as the spine. No more back strain.

As usual, I placed my order for these filters and amazon confirmed the order instantaneously. Three days later (or there abouts), they were at my door step... even with ground shipping. That was fast.

Clean, clear, tasty water
Water that's been filtered by PUR is noticeably tastier than water from other filters. I had been using Brita for years but when the dispenser broke, I researched water filters on Amazon and was pleased to see that PUR offered a superior filter.

I have been using PUR for over a year now and am very pleased at the result. I will not stinge on the quality to save a few bucks. Water is too important a component of my diet and good health to mess with.

Trickle down filternomics
For the first week of using this filter, the water would filter through very quickly. Now that I've been using it for about 3 weeks, it takes over 20 minutes to filter a full load. I've seen other filters work much faster, so I would not recommend this one.

However, seeing as this is a replacement pack, you probably already own the pitcher so this is the only filter you could buy. Too bad.

Early Christmas Present works on Ice...I Love it!
I ordered this for Christmas. But since we had an ice storm, I got it early. I love it! I was able to clear all of my car windows in a minute. It is alot better that the cheap ice scrapers you get from some promotion from the Bank. The Tenderizer Teeth cut thru the ice and the saw handle grip with the front grip really gave me the leverage to attack the ice. I have read the other reviews and I will watch out for some of the short comings mentioned. So far, the IceDozer Plus has performed very well. Read the Instructions before using so you know what to use when.

You will get plenty of use from this
I found the IceDozer Plus ice scraper easy to use. It is the best shaped ice scraper that I have used. It takes less work to clear frost and ice than a conventional scraper. Keep in mind that you will need a snow brush for the snow covering vehicle hood and roof etc. Overall it is priced right for the level of performance.

The scissor is really great. I like it that I can charge it and it's cordless. It's worth the price.

solid and long-lasting
This item was purchased to assist with Christmas wrapping. I gave it a work out this past week, and it delivered as promised. I went thru about a dozen large rolls of wrap, and 5 spools of tape, all one a single charge! Granted, cutting wrapping paper should not be a daunting task, but this item clarly saved me much time and effort.

I also opened several blister packs. This proved challenging, but with minimal effort, I did get the hang of it. Cutting into cardboard boxes (many from Amazon) was not difficult.

Finally, I dropped the item a couple of times. However, is was not affected by my clumsiness. This is well worth the price (under $15), even if you use it only occasionally.

Not more than average but great when it works right
These do hold a charge, so I'll give them a 5 on that, but I have found that they do not work well in more cases than when they do work well. These were excellent and a lifesaver on one occasion. I received vinyl vertical blinds which were too long and this was the best tool I could have used to trim each and every slat to a perfect length. The time it took was reduced in a major way than if I had I used another tool and my hands showed no wear. For that I give them a 5+. They are easy to hold in the hand and guide, provided you are cutting something that they want to move through. For plastic cases like the one this arrived within, they are absolutely terrible, stopping even when running and being pulled backward to remove them from the stuck position. I clean the blades and make sure it has a full charge, but in cases like this, they simply do not work well. There are applications where a knife is far superior, but there are the few times in the past two years I have found these to be worth grabbing. Great product, great price - BUT BEWARE of Amazon shipping bait and switch
I usually order this through WaterFilterFast.com but decided to give amazon a shot since I had Prime with free shipping. I got this item as expected with 2nd day air shipping. Exactly what I needed when I needed it.

Now onto the problem I have with amazon shipping... The Rock Band order fiasco. I found Rock Band for PS2 in local stores for $150 or more. I decided to check Amazon and was please to see that it was $99. SCORE - and with Prime, I would get it OVERNIGHT for only $3.99 more. I ordered Rock Band on December 27th through Amazon prime. I paid the extra money for the "OVERNIGHT" shipping option so that it would arrive BEFORE New Years Eve (as it was planned for a party). It was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday December 30th (since the order took place over the weekend)which would have left PLENTY of time.

HOWEVER - AMAZON's useless shipping department did not send this package overnight-as I paid for. They instead decided that UPS ground would suffice since it was shipping within the same zone. HERE is the problem with this fraudulent practice - UPS, like any other shipper prioritizes it packages based on actual shipping service purchased. Since this item was a GROUND package, it sat on the truck ALL day and ultimately was returned to the distribution center AFTER 7:00 PM. Also, since it was GROUND, it did not go out for delivery on the following day (12/31) since this was a limited service day for air packages only. AGAIN, if Amazon had shipped it properly, it would have been delivered on 12/31. REMEMBER I PAID for OVERNIGHT service.

THIS WATER FILTER ITEM proved that the shipping problem was caused by Amazon's practice of not properly handling a shipment. This order was placed with Amazon prime on MONDAY 12/29. Since it was not urgent, I opted for the FREE 2nd Day delivery. This package actually shipped via 2nd day air (as expected) and due to class of serivce (air) it was delivered on 12/31 (the holiday). It is now FRIDAY 1/2 and I still have not yet rec'd my Rock Band order. IT WILL BE REFUSED WHENEVER IT IS FINALLY DELIVERED as I bought the exact same product from Walmart on Wednesday morning for the SAME PRICE.

I complained to Amazon about this and the best they would do is refund my shipping and offer me $5.00 off my NEXT purchase. Why would I purchase from them again after this terrible experience.

In summary - BEWARE OF THE SHIPPING Bait and Switch! Use Amazon's site for your research and Customer Shopping BuZZ. If you like the item and want to buy it, see if you can get it local for the same deal - if so TAKE IT. Don't trust Amazon's shipping dept. or expect good customer service! If they keep this up - they will go the way of SO MANY companies today and be gone in a heartbeat.

BEWARE, THIS FILTER POLLUTES WATER
I bought set of 3 filters from Amazon about 2 month ago and immediately installed one filter into my fridge. After a few days of usage my wife pointed my attention that water coming out the fridge contains tiny, almost invisible flakes. I think it some sort of internal filtering staff coming out of the filter. I tried to use another filter from the set with the same result - flakes. Just think for a second those flakes are actually some sort of chemically active reagents and we have to drink that water!!!

These work very well
These work well, seem fairly comfortable, and the price is reasonable. I got these because my planer is uncomfortably loud and I found that my hearing took several hours to recover after planing.... I'm afraid of permanent damage so I got these. They really make a huge difference. However, despite the words in the decription, these are NOT active noise cancelling type hearing protectors. They are just passive earmuffs. Nothing wrong with that... I have Bose active true noise cancelling earphones at work -- these Peltors cost 1/10th as much and do more or less the same job as far as I am concerned. If you are around loud tools, I highly recommend ear protection. So far, these seem to do the trick for me.

Great Noise Reduction and Headache Builder
These work great to reduce noise of all types. I had to return mine because they gave me a headache due to the pressure they place on your head to get a tight seal. Another consideration I did not think about, is the conflicts with other PPE such as a full face shield or safety glasses. I am going to stick with ear plugs.

Better than Bose !!!!!!!!
I bought these with the idea of using them with Skullcandy's inner ear headphones and putting these over them. These are not noise canceling and that is why I bought them, the noise canceling feature for some reason always creates ear aches for me. I have used Bose's quiet comfort headphones and these are in my opinion better, it every aspect except for looks. These are large but they, are comfy, cheap, and do the job excellent. Another attribute is that you can use these for more than just one purpose, I use them on the plane, cutting grass or in the wood shop. And if the get messed up or lost they are only 20 bucks. Save your ears and your money.

I purchased this for my niece, it has just enough tools so that she can fix things for yourself. Great product!

For her!
I love my new tool kit! I mainly bought it for the pink drill, hammer, box cutter, scissors, wrench....well just about everything. I used the drill to screw a nail in the wall to hang a picture and it did the job well, and it's light weight (great for over head positions). But don't expect it to work like a Dewalt hammer drill. It's only 4.8 volts with little torque! I use the box cutter all the time because I'm constanly cutting up boxes from Amazon orders. The little screw drivers came in handy too to replace the batteries on my car remote control. It also comes with a box of extra screws nails, ect. If you are a woman in construction, or a SERIOUS do it yourselfer, this is NOT the kit for you. You will not be satisfied. Dewalt has some nice light weight tools. This kit is definately just for small stuff around the house which is a necessity. I can't count the numerous times when I wanted a light drill to assemble a desk, or shelf and I had to use a rusty old screw driver that hurt my hand. This would make a great gift for some of my girlfriends! Cute and fun and just for her! I give this kit 5 stars for the quality and its' purpose.

FOUR MONTHS LATER: I've been using my tool kit quite often. I haven't used everything, but I'll tell about what I have used.
1. Cordless drill: I wish it had a bit more torque. But it can do light jobs. One of the many tasks I did was assemble a stand for my mother's new digital tv. I also hung up picture, ect. The bits are good.
2. Box cutter: can get annoying. I order A LOT from Amazon and I need a good box cutter to cut up the boxes for recycling and this one sucks! When I try to cut boxes with this thing, the blade rides back up into the plastic casing. Not very useful :(
3. I worry about using this hammer on any heavy project. There is a label on the hammer that reads, "This tool can be made to chip if struck against a hardened nail......". You do the math!
4. What works great: measuring tape, leveler, percision screwdrivers and scissors.
5. Have not used yet: wrench, pliers, tape and putty knife.

Again, I still love this kit, but they should have made a better pink hammer and drill. I only paided 29.99, now they raised the price to 39.99. They should have raised the quality. But I still say it's a must have for women who do SMALL jobs around the house.

OK for Daughter in College
Of course, at this price, the tools are not the greatest, but the novelty of having everything in one spot and in HOT PINK is great. This would be a perfect 1st time gift for kids going to college who may need a few tools every once in a while. Definitely not for someone planning major renovations! :)

I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR AND VERY SATISFIED
Have had this Black and Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator since Nov. 12, 2008 and have used it several times. Have not found any thing negative about it. Some have left negative feelings about the lenth of the AC cord or air hose being to short or the noise it makes. As for me it is no big thing with me. The main thing is that it has done what I have paid for. As to the accuracy of the air guage the manual tells you that it has a accurancy of + or - 3% at any pressure reading. The gas station pumps that you now have to pay to use have a worst accuracy reading.

The main reason for buying the Black and Decker Air Station was for conveniency. I don't have to hunt for a gas station pump (that works), and then one that is easy to pull up to. I don't have to wait my turn to use next. How long did you last have to wait ( 10, 20 minutes ) to use a pump? Plus what was the weather conditions then ( 30 degrees, 95 degrees, snow, rain ) the last time you had to PAY to use a gas station pump?

Overall, pretty good
Overall, I like this inflator. As is typical with about anything, it has strengths and weaknesses. The strengths:

- Once set, I verified with a digital tire gauge that the built-in pressure gauge is accurate to <1 psi, so you can actually use the auto-shutoff feature to make your life easier.

- It works with both AC and DC power, which makes it useable both around the house and in the car.

- All the wires nicely and completely store inside it for a clean appearance and easy-to-tuck-away form-factor, without need for velcro strips or the like.

- It pumps air quickly for a portable unit. I've had some that simply take forever to inflate a tire.

- It's not too loud for a portable inflator. Many others are deafening by comparison. (More on this in a moment.)

- The build quality is mostly pretty good. In particular, the body is made of a solid, heavy-duty plastic that doesn't feel flexy, and the power switch doesn't feel like it's going to break after five uses.

- The built-in carry handle--which is molded right into the case - nothing to fold out and break off--is handy and works very well.

The weaknesses:

- The AC cord is indeed on the short side. Obviously, it's designed to be set right next to or under an outlet (or used with an extension cord), and I'm fine with that. However, I still wouldn't mind just another three or four inches inches, just to allow a little more wiggle room when plugging directly into an outlet. But, it *is* more than long enough to reach up to the typical wall outlet from the floor, so no biggie.

- The fake plastic bolt heads on top are cheesy and scream "consumer-grade". That said, they're not bad enough that my wife would notice.

- I'd prefer an all-metal air connector. Admittedly, however, I have an old second-hand foot pump whose connector is almost identical, and everything *but* the connector is falling apart on that, so it's probably not nearly as delicate as it might seem. At least it's not the sort of plastic that tends to melt or crumble in our Phoenix summer heat.

- The gauge, though accurate as far as controlling the pump, isn't scaled in a way that makes it accurate to set. I managed to guess correctly on the first try, and then just left it, but you may not be able to do that if the items you're inflating require a variety of inflation pressures. Basically, don't throw out your dedicated gauge just yet. That said, even when you can't use it for final measurement, the built-in gauge will at least prevent you from grossly (and dangerously) over-inflating if you get distracted, and if you estimate high, it lets you use a separate gauge to reach your target by simply bleeding air out, rather than having to add air.

- The length of the DC cord may make things tight if you have a big vehicle and no power plugs toward the rear. When I did the tires in my Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab full-size pickup, I was able to get the unit to reach from the plug in the dashboard to the rear tires, but I had little length to spare. If I had the longer Mega Cab version, or the longer bed, I may not have been so lucky. That said, we're talking about the longest standard vehicles here, and their owners expect this sort of issue. If it'll be a problem for you, you probably already expect to need a DC extension cord.

- The power switch's design makes it too easy to flip into AC or DC when you don't intend to. I don't know, however, if this can actually cause harm to the unit. FWIW, I accidentally switched into DC while turning it off on AC, and it seemingly did nothing and worked just fine afterward.

As for the noise, since "loud" means different things to different people, I went ahead and measured it. From a distance of about two feet, using C-weighting, I got about 92 dB; I got about 96 dB at three or four inches. At those levels, if you had to listen to it all day in your workplace, OSHA would require hearing protection, but for just a few minutes while you inflate something, it's not a problem. Put in terms of what may be more familiar to many, it's equivalent to a moderately loud segment of an action movie in a theater.

Finally, a note about wire storage. Some here have complained that it's too hard to pack the wires into the unit. I was able to do so for the first time, on the first try, without any frustration and without having to redo the wires. Basically, a quick, loose loop or two suffices for the AC cord and air line, but the space is small enough that you really need to neatly wrap (but not tie) the DC cord. If you are the sort that does that anyway, as I am, you'll be quite happy with the storage compartment. If you're the sort that would prefer to simply shove the wires in, you'll have a harder time.

In the end, I'm a happy camper and definitely recommend this unit to others.

Works as Described but Some Shortcomings
Air Station works as decribed but I wanted to highlight some shortcomings and specifics.

AC Plug is only 12" so you would need extension cords. Air hose is 24" and DC cord is plenty long. Storage compartment is small so it takes bit of work to store all cords and hose. Takes 2minutes to pump up SUV tire from 15psi to 32psi.

Lots of power
We love this for the leaf blowing but for the vacuum it just doesn't do the job. We live in Portland OR where we have lots of leaves that are very wet and this just gets clogged to make it practical.

Not as sturdy as Toro's earlier models
I owned a Toro Model 51587 Blower Vac for four years - very similar to this Model 51599 except it had a plastic impeller and was single-speed. It finally just wore out - the plastic lugs on the suction horn that activated an interlock on the power unit that permitted it to start when the suction horn was attached just finally wore away from hundreds of hours of use - most of them heavy use. So I naturally assumed this model with the metal impeller would be even better - not so fast. What is better is that Toro improved every minor design weakness in my older model. The way the plastic parts attach together is nothing short of ingenious, with virtually no way they can wear out even under heavy use. The variable-speed motor is a decent feature, but I ended up running mine at maximum speed almost all the time except for very small, tidying-up jobs. Plus the Model 51599 is much quieter than my older Toro. The first time I turned it on, I wasn't even sure it was running it was so quiet - but that didn't last. Despite the metal impeller, this model couldn't compare to the ruggedness of my old Toro blower vac. I hadn't used this one 10 hours before it started to get noisier - barely noticeable at first, but with each use it got noisier and noisier. Then it started vibrating worse and worse, and I knew then it was just a matter of time before the main bearing would fail, and it did, less than a month after buying it. First, I called Toro customer service, who gave me the option of either shipping to them in Minnesota the main power unit (at my own expense, of course) for a free replacement or taking it to a local factory-authorized servicer about 10 miles away. What they failed to tell me is that the factory servicer has a tendency to close up shop and disappear for days or weeks at a time. Then I called the seller, who fortunately gave me an immediate exchange with the promise of a full refund if I'm not completely satisfied with the replacement unit. So I've not yet given up on the Toro Model 51599, maybe my first one was just a lemon; but, don't assume as I did that just because it's more expensive, has the same 2-year unlimited warranty, and has a metal impeller that this blower-vac is as solid or as rugged as Toro's earlier models. I'm going to "baby" this replacement - no jumping into any thick layers or piles of leaves or assuming it can handle sticks or small stones as well as my older Toro model. Honestly, I suspect the real reason Toro went to a metal impeller was because all the bad press associated with their Model 51586 that was recalled twice due to the plastic impeller disintegrating and injuring a few users with flying debris.

I had a gas blower thinking it was necessary to move the expected volumn of leaves. After reviewing the ratings in Consumer Reports I decided to purchase this blower and am completely satified. It moves a huge quanity of leaves with sticks in them with ease. The variable speed option is great for when you get in corners or tight areas. I have not used the vacuum and probably will not however I highly recommend this blower!

Finally got a chance to use the K3 system and was completely impressed with the final product. Far easier to use than my biscuit joiner ever was and, while it would have been nice to have instructions on a CD, the written instructions were clear and concise. Extra and specialty clamps from Kreg and others will prove useful and I immediately purchased those after using the jig for the first time. I'm actually looking forward to a couple of other pending projects now that I see how easy they will be!

It heats very well for a small room, and I guess it is not designed for a hall or a large room. The thermostat is not working great; which it results to more period of being on and more power consumption.

tiny and hot
I bought one about a year ago without reading the dimensions and simply basing it on the price. Once i received the product i laughed and told myself "well at least i only paid $15 for it", wow was i wrong! this thing heats up a 10x10 room within 30min. Bought a second one 3 weeks after for another room and both are still working with no issues. If you need to heat up a large open room or expect this to replace central heat, keep looking. I read a few reviews complaining about the unit turning off on its own, its a feature when the fan setting is set anywhere between 1-5 where it senses the room temp and shuts off and back on when needed. To have it on non-stop just move it to fan setting 6.

DeLonghi heater review
This is a great little heater for keeping your feet warm. It isn't big enouugh to warm a room but it keeps the chill off. It tends to blow cold air if left on too long but that seems to be remedied by turning up the dial a little. The case never seems to get hot so I don't worry about it burning the carpet on the floor. Its a good little heater for a great price.

it needs improvement. I'm very satisfied with the brightness of the light for this size and price. It's very portable that it does not bother me even in the pocket. Mine does not show any mechanical or electrical problems but the light flickers very often. When I focus on something and the light flickers, it's very difficult to do fine jobs.
But I've noticed that this flickering is a typical problem for most of LED.

Having seen the balanced numbers of very positive and very negative reviews I took a chance on this LED flashlight. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as my flashlight has worked well for over a week. I also bought one as a gift. Fortunately the gift also has worked well. This flashlight lives up to its name 'Super-Bright'. I would highly recommend this flashlight only if you're willing to risk getting some defective ones and dealing with potential returns. If you're one of the lucky ones and receive a working flashlight you'll be quite happy.

Brilliant but Brief
This little show pony broke after exactly 3 on-off cycles. The rubber switch at the end malfunctioned. I am happy that this problem became apparent right away. It would be a real bummer to actually need some emergency light and learn about the defect then. I returned the light to Amazon the same day I received it - at Amazon expense for a full refund. (Thanks, Amazon!) I hope to order something a more reliable next time.

Simple, inexpensive, and it WORKS
I read a review of the AccuSharp Knife Sharpener that gave it very high marks. Having found it on Amazon I immediately purchased one. It works very well, sharpening every knife in my kitchen. The finger guard looks flimsy but it works. The AccuSharp is lightweight yet sturdy and looks like it will last at least as long as my current set of knives. I recommend this product because it does its job well at a very reasonable price.

Easy to use manual knife sharpener
I was reading a cooking magazine that reviews products. In the issue I was reading, they were comparing different knife sharpeners. This was their favorite hands down. The same company makes an electric knife sharpener for $159.00, but they liked this $10 manual one better. It works well. I used it on a knife that has been dull for several years and it brought it back to life.

Great opener!
I gave this to my husband. I wrapped it and put it under the tree with a note "open me first." My husband used this to open and snip every ribbin and gift. Works great. I will be giving this to my brother and dad soon.

Get it just for the clippers
4.5 Stars. I've had my "Open It" for about 11 months now and I use them all the time for opening boxes and those damn clamshell/blister packages. The clippers are powerful and able to easily cut through any plastic packaging I've come across - the handles give you great leverage and a comfortable grip, so I've never been forced to use two hands to try to cut through anything, like I've had to sometimes with regular or even "heavy duty" scissors.

Most of the complaints are focused on the secondary features: the screwdriver and the boxcutter blade. These are certainly its weak points - a real boxcutter or screwdriver are definitely MUCH better at those tasks. BUT - I often find that when I have this tool out to open a package, I often have also find I then have a light need for a screwdriver (say, to open the battery compartment on a kids toy) or a cutter (say, to cut the shrinkwrap on a DVD case) and for that kind of simple purpose, the Open It's cutter or screwdriver is handy and saves me from needing to get up and pull out another tool. For light-duty stuff like that which you might need while you already have the cutters out, they are nice to have, but not make-or-break features. These are primarily sturdy clippers and the rest is just gravy.

Bright colors are easy to find this mediocre tool
I received this a couple weeks ago and try to use it every day, but I do find that I tend to grab the folding utility knife and scissors instead of this cute looking tool. The designers intended to create a catchy tool and I guess if you use this for opening packages and nothing else, it should last for a couple years, maybe more. I personally have a little difficulty opening the little latch which allows me to even use this item, hence I grab my other more solid and trustworthy tools. The silicony feel to the handle is pleasant, but it also seems rather lightweight. I don't trust the little extendable blade because it's not comfortable at the end of this, and the screwdriver has not worked for me the one time I needed, so I can't give those high marks. Since this is marked as a "Universal Package Opener," they wanted to include as many options as possible, but I must ask what package needs a little screwdriver? On the positive, I would imagine that if a person with arthritic hands is able to open the little clasp or simply always leaves this tool in open and ready to use form, it probably is more comfortable than scissors to use and likely will be greatly appreciated.

My husband loves his leatherman. We have had four. We did have one that we had to have replaced. Which was very easy with the lifetime warrenty. The others were lost. (I wonder if leathermen could weld it to my husband.) We keep buying more because my husband can't function without them. Great product... Definetly one of man's best friends.

Useful in ditching girls.
I, in general, don't like tools and have as few as possible cluttering up the place. Hey, what are repairmen for? I do make an exception with this little thing though. This is one useful toy! I, as a matter of fact have five of them. I keep one at home, one in my apartment, one in each of my cars and carry one in my purse. I was not even aware of these useful little items until I read an article in a magazine about some poor guy who was out walking and a big old rock fell on his arm. Rather than die a horrible death of starvation, or having some wild animal eat him, he took his leatherman type tool and cut his arm off with it! This saved his life! I had recently had a similar experience. I was at a convention in Atlanta and hooked up with a lady lawyer there, one thing led to another, and well the next morning I found myself lying in bed with her laying across my right leg completely zonked out. Now this girl talked nonstop unless her mouth was occupied elsewhere (I have to admit she was pretty good at that), and I did not want to wake her up and listen for the next three days. My leg was completely asleep; I mean no feeling what-so-ever. Yup, I had to wake her up and it took me two days to ditch her. Had I had one of these multipurpose tools with me, I could have made a tourniquet from my pantyhose, and simply removed my leg like the guy removed his arm! I swear by my sister virginity (now that is a laugh), that I would have done it. She still writes me and I may have to change my phone number. Anyway, I read this article about the guy and said to myself that I have to have one of those thingies.

I can fix just about anything now and actually go around the house, office and cars looking for broke stuff to fix even if it does not need it. As an added bonus, the one I carry in my purse can act as a great defensive weapon and is perfectly legal to carry in most conservative states but as I seldom travel in New England, I need not worry too much about that.

There is one tool on it, a wire stripper. I have absolutely no idea what that is for and have never seen a wire that I had a great desire to strip, or why on earth someone would want to do that to the poor things. I Guess you can't have it all though, huh.

Anyway, I really truly recommend this tool. It is neat, cool and oh so useful. I think I will buy them for peoples Christmas presents this year.

Excellent tool
I have used this tool for the past month, and am addicted to it. It has been invaluable. I tried using a cheaper multitool and found the Leatherman to be of much higher quality. The tool can be a little tough to remove from its sheath one handed, but that was easily resolved when I accidentally put the sheath on my belt upside down. I've been doing it that way since. I'd definitely recommend it.

Very useful for simple projects
Seeing this for a good price from Amazon.com, I thought they'd be extremely useful for DIY work and ordered two of these -- one for myself and one as a present. This device uses a laser passed through a lens to project a "cross" onto a surface. The horizontal line was very bright and showed up well as far as 20 feet away (just as advertised), unfortunately, the vertical line was so faint that you could only see it in very dark rooms (e.g. no ambient lighting from windows) or when the device was within 1 foot from the wall. It took us a while to realize that the device must be mounted directly to the wall you are hanging the pictures on (using sticky adhesive provided in the box) to be able to use the laser lines. It will not work if you want to put it elsewhere in the room and project the lines onto the surface of interest. That said, it is extremely useful for aligning pictures and other items on the wall; however, if there's a door frame or other raised feature on the wall, the beam will not project past this feature so this limits the usefulness of the device.

Excellent little helper
This products is simple, but very useful when you want to drill several holes in straight lines.

Worst item ever ordered
I read all the reviews AFTER I order three of these and none of them worked. Wish I had read them before. I appreciate that some of you can MAKE them work by soldering, etc., but I purchased them for my 85 year old Dad for a Christmas present and the item should work out of the box. No clear direction on which way batteries should go or which way battery pack should go back into flashlight. I tried every possibility I could find and nothing worked. I have never had occasion to return an item from Amazon, but all three of these didn't work and are being returned the day after Christmas. Such a disappointment.

I bought two of these for my niece and nephew for Christmas, only to discover today (Christmas) this alarming warning.

Great little light
Small, inexpensive, and very powerful. The LEDs give this light much better battery life and brightness than a normal incandescent bulb, and the push-button switch on the back makes operation easy. The case is made from aluminum, and has a plastic lens and rubber push-button on the back. The only issue I have is with the durability. This light got dropped once or twice (just from a foot or two), and now a connection is loose somewhere inside, meaning sometimes only half the LEDs light up. Definitely not as durable as a Mag-Lite, but that's solved by not dropping it.

Excellent Bargain +++A+++
Delonghi is a very reliable brand. The last one I had (simular to this one) lasted 5+ years. I bought 2 more this winter to 'replace' my gas furnace. Gas-heat is just too expensive, so I plug these in and blew out the pilot-light :) These put out some Heat ! They are slow to warm-up, a few hours to get it going at max-heat. They are quiet and you'll forget it's even there. I'd say one per room during the coldest months. I'm in Ohio and it gets pretty darn cold here. These will keep you toasty and sleep like a baby at night.

Excellent Heater
This heater is presently in our lower level family room. It does an exceptional job heating the entire room. I leave it on the lowest setting as it got down in the low 20's (which is unusual for here in Eastern NC)and it kept the room nice and toasty. I was looking for a space heater that would keep the room warm, and after reading the many reviews thought I would take a chance on it and I am not sorry. I highly recommend this heater for people WITHOUT small children as it does get a little too warm on the radiator coils for little hands to touch it.

A skeptic's review
As a lifelong skeptic, I caved and purchased one on the recommendation of a friend. I wanted to warm a large area of the basement without diverting heat away from the main floor. Set on low, this device warmed a 25x15 foot area. The first utility bills have shown a very small increase in electrical usage. Although it is quite easy to move, I purchased a second one for use wherever needed.

These bits work.
These are special bits that work with the Leatherman built in bit holder. These are not standard 1/4 bits. However, they work great. The bits are fairly hard and the bit profiles really fit their respective fasteners. I actually ordered 2 sets of bits so I won't have to worry if I lose a bit.

Good stuff!
Except for places that forbid any metal tools like Aircraft, I never go anywhere without the leatherman and these bits. The versatility and functionality can not be beat!

peace of mind
I already owned a Leatherman tool so I know how handy they are...I put this one in my truck and have already used it once at the gas station to help out another customer. Too Loud for a Manicure
I purchased this with great hopes that this would solve the anxious time associated by triming the dog's nails. After following the prescribed method that came with the device and gradually introducing my Yorkie it just didn't work. She trembled for 20 minutes after just having it near her. If your dog is a bit nervous, this will not help. My Yorkie never wanted her nails clipped but this added noise and vibration and freaked her out!!! So I gave it to my daughter who has two larger dogs and also helps out at a dog rescue. So maybe she will get some good use out of it. Clipping dogs nails is just tough and I am disappointed that this wasn't the answer for us. Good luck!!!!

Excellent for our Pug
We have a Pug that does not like things that go around. He barks like crazy at our little food processor, even before we turn it on. So it was with some trepidation that we purchased this thinking we could spare him some trips to the vet to trim his nails. Well, the first time we showed it to him he sniffed, the first time we turned it on he looked at it, the first time we touched his nails, he just sat there looking at us. Yes it works fantastic to keep his nails trim. No more trips to the vet where he shakes uncontrollably.

Highly recommended to keep your dogs nails in check. It has plenty of power on low or high and the rechargeable batteries are a snap.

My Dogs and I Love It!
I purchased this tool for filing my large dogs' nails. After a few days of short sessions and lots of treats, they were fine with it. Now, I pick up the Dremel, and they come running, knowing they will get a treat after each paw. This from two dogs who were terrified of a nail clipper.

The Minimite is the perfect size to fit in my hand, allowing for various angles of use. The medium drums are great for a large dog's nails. This tool is powerful and the battery charge lasts far beyond filing 8 paws. It is pretty quiet, and has a low and high setting.

My husband and I have found many other uses for this tool as well. It is great!

Perfect
The Dremel came within 7 days. It is the perfect tool for minor cutting and shaping of my dogs nails. I have two dogs one a Greyhound and the other a Jack Russell Terrier. It works equally as well on both dogs.

Excellent option for a great price
The toro powershovel is a great hybrid. Sure its a lot more than a good snow shovel, but its less than more expensive snowthrowers. I use a 40' and 80' extension cord to do my 45' driveway, walkway, steps and back parking area. This little guy does a great job. I can push it with one hand, slowly walking behind and angling the thrown snow off to one side (the snow does shoot 20' so be aware of others). After a few quick passes the job is done. Even deeper compacted snow that builds up due to the plows is easily handled by lowering the powershovel onto the snow.

Works in Boston!
I received this electric shovel as a Christmas gift and am very happy with it's performance. Boston recently had a 3 day snow storm that totaled over a foot of snow.
The first part of the storm was light and fluffy snow. The Toro shovel
made short work of it. The last part of the storm had heavy wet snow.
Again this shovel did the job! It not strong enough to work well on frozen ice like some gas powered snow throwers but for clearing the sidewalk and stairs it's the right choice.

Powerful for its Size
We had about 6" here in Syracuse (Snow Capitol of the U.S.) about a week after this arrived. It works as advertised, and did better than I expected for such a small electric broom. It pushes snow straight forward, so you have to avoid the wind blowing it back. But, they've boosted the amps, obviously, and as others have said, it can plow through that burm that forms at the end of your driveway even when it's more compacted than the snow at large.

It is kind of heavy, but you *can* push it, at least until you hit a bump or a crack on your walkway/driveway. Personally, I hate shoveling snow, and am not in shape to do so. So, call me lazy if you like, but I'd pay the same amount again for this snow broom, not that I'll have to for quite a while, probably. I'll follow up if I'm wrong.

I just wouldn't use it in damp, slushy conditions, as the manual says.

Good System
I love my Brita water pitcher and therefore, couldn't live without the filters! I find that my water tastes so much better after being filtered. Also, since my husband I and are the only ones using it and we aren't home much, I find that the filters last much longer than the suggested replacement period.

Very disappointed!!
I was extracting a bolt whose head had broken off. The burnishing side had almost no impact on the broken bolt. I had to use my own drill bit to create a pilot hole. Then the remover side BROKE almost immediately after applying any pressure. It's a waste of $20. What's worse is that the broken piece prevented me from using ANY extractor, and I must replace the piece I was trying to remove the bolt from. I expected a LOT more for my money.

Worked for me
I picked up one of the Grab-Its from the local DIY warehouse to remove some very stripped bolts from a jointer. I was impressed with the performance, but not with the instructions. From the package I bought, it's not obvious which side of the bit to use first. Also it is critical to run both the "cleanout" and the "extractor" heads in reverse. That was counter intuitive for me and not spelled out very well in the instructions. But with a few attempts, angling the drill side to side until it found a good angle, the Grab-It did work as advertised. I'll certainly use them again.

Screw removers
Haven't had the need to use them yet, but they look like they will work. They didn't come in a case as shown, just a thick, clear plastic bag.

Versatile flashlight also makes a great toy
You don't want to use this flashlight around kids betweeen, say, 5 to 10. Why? Becauase you'll break their hearts when you tell them they can't play with it. This light was designed by someone with not only a sense of utility - it really is exceptionally useful - but whimsy as well because it is a great "Star Wars" kind of toy.

The concept is elegantly simple: three independent flashlights mounted in a cluster on a tripod stand/handle.

With all three flashlights inserted in the tripod stand/handle, one switch turns all of them on. With all the flashlight heads pointed straight forward, you have a moderately powerful LED flashlight with some heft to it. It won't replace a Mag Lite if you're planning on using it to protect yourself, but it will light your way.

The real fun, though, comes when you snap out the tripod legs. You now have a light with independent heads that can be rotated 120 degrees. Incredibly handy when you're working, let's say, under a sink or between the wall and your home theatre setup. You get both direct and bounce lighting, if that's what you want. Functional, bright and light weight
I purchased this light for routine indoor use. So far, I am very pleased with the flexibility of the device. It is composed of three independent LED flashlights that will work in concert when placed in the tripod. The things I like most about the light:

- When placed in the tripod base (with either two or three present in the slots) clicking any on/off switch turns all of the units on or off. You do not have to click each one individually.

- The units are very light and use only two AA batteries each.

- The battery compartments are sealed with an O ring to keep out moisture.

The things that could be improved:

- The tripod legs are plastic and do not look as if they would endure much punishment.

- When put together as one light, it is a bit large in circumference. However, I don't know how that could be avoided and still have 3 separate lights

MY BACK IS GRATEFUL
I had hopes for this item because my husband and I both have bad backs (I have 4 herniated discs, fibromyalgia and chronic sciatic pain). We have a city house with only about 50 ft of sidewalk, and 10 feet of driveway to shovel since we park the cars at the end of the driveway. I had hoped that since we don't like gas powered tools and have such a small area to do that this item would be great for us. We got the snowblower delivered from Amazon a day before a 12" snow storm. It had been reduced the week I was considering it to 279 so I took it as a sign. Got free super saver shipping. I found it slightly tricky to put together because of the wires through the handle thing, but not as bad as some made it sound. I am a woman with a some mechanical knowledge (more than my husband who also had the flu that weekend). I used it three times during the storm, after each time about 4 inches had come down. It worked great, and was almost exactly like using our electric lawn mower. I was able to move the snow with a basic push pull motion which was SOOO much better than the bending, lifting and throwing of shoveling. The only difference was that the lawn mower still cuts while being pulled back, but the snow thrower only throws snow when moving forward. It pulls itself somewhat so I also didn't find myself having to work hard at pushing it at all. (we had bought the Toro snow SHOVEL which I stopped using years ago because of the effort to push it along). My husband was sick through this storm so I did it all and it was great. I could tell that alot of it was made of plastic so I didn't just go out there and ram it through the heavy stuff the plow left in the driveway. It definitely is not happy to hit chunks of ice and has a lot of plastic parts. It seemed to want to climb up over the icy stuff which was helpful in taking it down in thinner layers to avoid breaking it. I also ALWAYS chop up the stuff with a shovel before shoveling/snowblowing if its had time to freeze. You sort of want to hold onto the machine with two hands (there are two handles) to SHAVE it down where it is icy or full of chunks from the plow. The directions recommend this as well. At @35 lbs it was fine for me to do that. My neighbors looked envious. It took a bit of time, but not having to lift the shovel full of heavy, icey snow was great. I also liked what a open area it cut around the cars, which are parked in a narrow driveway between close houses. When we shovel it usually just slides down and its hard to dig out the cars. We also have uneven slate side walk and driveway that the toro snow SHOVEL didn't work well on, but this snow THROWER was fine on it. Of course my daughter did some clean up work with the shovel afterwards. I don't think any snow blower will get it perfectly clean down to the sidewalk/pavement. So, I only used it for one storm so far, but it saved me alot of back trouble. I would recommend it for those who have small area to clear, who are comfortable using an outdoor electrical corded machine(it does get stiff in the cold and you have to keep it clear!), and those who don't mind "taking it slow and easy" with a small machine that has a lot of plastic parts. If you're someone who demands power, have a large driveway, want to do over 6" at a time or want to be able to just blast through the heavy stuff from the plow, I don't think this is for you. I also am having trouble having the hood stay at a bent angle. Wants to just shoot up straight all the time. So I am working on that, probably needs different bolt/washer. But I really am happy with it so far.

A true winner
This is my second winter with this snow blower, after coming in from using it just now I had to post a rave! So far it has saved me countless backbreaking shovelfuls of snow. It can easily handle 6" snow falls and can nibble and wear down up to a foot of snow for a few running feet. It even handles the heavy stuff that the snowplows throw up at the end of my driveway. (Sometimes in heavy stuff the output pipe clogs - it takes but a second with it not running - to punch the clog back down. No problem!)

I don't have a garage, and don't want to store gasolene in my basement, so this is perfect. Each storm I do have to haul it up the basement stairs, but it is light and has a handle right above its center of gravity so this is not a problem. Its light weight means that out in the snow I can manouver it easily - even pick it up and set it down in a different direction.

I don't enjoy snowstorms, but this little guy has made them much easier!

5 Stars With Reservations
I love it!!
I give it 5 stars with reservations. I put this together in no time, had no problem with getting the handle to line up, just used a flashlight to help see the holes lined up. I find the extension cord be be no problem at all, its very lightweight and only 50' long, my driveway is 1 car wide, 2 car long.
It works great and beats shoveling.
I read all the reviews carefully before buying, knowing that sometimes you get a dud. The belt issue was worrying me, but i bought it anyway for my significant other for Christmas. Well, it snowed before Christmas so i gave it to him early. (We're in our 50's, so i didn't want us shoveling because of heart attacks etc, plus getting a small driveway plowed adds up moneywise). So..he had to work, i got to snowblow. It was fantastic!! Then the next snow I brought the blower out for him and he got 2 little pushes and it stopped! I took it apart and tried to put the belt back on myself, but it was too tight, the hardware store did it for me. So it snowed 2 days ago, i took it out, 2 little pushes and it stopped!! I was ready to cry. I pulled the side off it and was able to put belt back on (the way it was sitting, i think the guy put in on wrong) anyway, took it back out and worked like a charm! So, needless to say, i am still impressed with this toro, I will see how it works the next storm.

Better than expected!
I had high expectations for this product, but am now even more impressed several months later. Can't find a better surge protector with this many outlets!

Quality Surge Protector that lives up to the Belkin Name
I consider this Belkin surge protector to be one of the best "all-in-ones" that are made. Not only do you get plenty of outlets, but you also get an extended cord, phone/ethernet/coax protection, well-spaced outlets, right-angle plug, and a small profile. For the price, you will not get a better surge protector.

When opening the package, the first thing I noticed was the small profile of this product. To have so many features and outlets you would think this item would have to be huge. Granted, the length and width are large, but it is thin and sits on the floor or other surface very well. I commend them on their design of this product.

You will find 12 outlets on this device and half of them will have space for large plugs and adapters. You will also find protection for coax, ethernet, and phone. The right-angle plug is awesome and allows you to plug this surge protector in behind large furniture without having it stick out. That should be a standard on all surge protectors! You will also have plenty of slack with the cord that will allow you to put this device almost anywhere.

I realize most of the features I listed are available on other surge protectors, but most do not include all of them on one device. Belkin did and they executed it very well at a very good price. This item is highly recommended.

It's what we were looking for.
This is a great surge protector. We had a lot of large electronic plugs and this accommodated them nicely. The only thing you might want to know is there is no on off switch. Other than that it's exactly what we needed.

Great concept for the DIYer
I ordered the Jawhorse by standard delivery and it arrived the following day. Checked to see if Amazon charged me for expedited shipping, but no, they did not. No defects noted. Assembly a breeze. Use is intuitive, although customer pictures give additional creative ideas on how it can be utilized. Very sturdy. Unfortunately that sturdiness leads to my only complaint. At 40+ pounds it's a wee heavy for an oldster like me. Should not affect younger persons.

I purchased the Kill-a Watt P4400 a few years ago, and have used it numerous times to verify the power consumed by tv's,refrigerators, stereo equip., small A/C (less than 15amp). The only problem was a miss alignment of one of the reciptical pins, it was off center and the unit under test connector pin went down on the side instead of BETWEEN the recipticle contacts resulting in overheating the connector pin and partially melting some plastic. A slight adjustment and all is well. A good little tester!

I purchased this unit about 6 months ago. It worked fine,
giving me information about how much electric power was
being used by various items in standby and active modes.
I recently used it again and found it malfunctioning.
The various readings were ~ 197Volt, 33Watts & 1.3Amps with
nothing connected.

Other reviews here saying the level isn't accurate or otherwise doesn't work correctly are wrong. They may have perhaps had a defective unit or a unit that otherwise would not have normally passed QA and slipped through. In this case my suggestion would be to return the unit.

It does work as advertised.

If your wall or surface is not flat then it will not work because the far side (the side opposite of the one you are holding) will not make contact.

To use this level you simply apply slight pressure on one end and this is enough to prevent it from moving on either side.

I never thought I needed to own a level until this one was designed. I think its brilliant. There are so many overlooked annoyances in life, and this product effectively and forever kills one of them (hanging up a frame with fixed position hooks by yourself).

I think its brilliant because its very simple.

Lowe's has this advertised and is selling this for $19.99.

I have been trying to hang pictures for some time now. They all have been uneven. Finally I can get them straight and even. I love the holes on the level that allow you to nail the nail in the exact spot and with no time and effect at all. The length is great so no matter what size you need to hang, you can. Great Tool, I Bought 6 of These
The CX model is a great tool, more handy than most and I like it a little better than my Wave. Everyone on my Christmas list got one, myself included, each has been used bunches all ready (I changed an outlet at my mother in-laws yesterday).
This tool comes with a 154CM blade (has a great edge so be careful). The blade shape is excellent, it has a good utility edge on it. I purchased the combination serrated and straight blade because of the metal, finish, and shape. Although I usually sharpen my own knives right out of the box I do not expect to need to sharpen this one for quite some time.
The only trade off is the screwdriver bits although interchangeable do not lock into the handle as well as I would like. Much like sockets on a simple ratchet the bits can pull out of the handle rather than the good ratchet where you have to push the release to get them off. As long as this tool doesn't do any hard time knocking around my tool bag I won't worry about it.
This is a great first multi-tool. If you like it then go up to the next level where you have to put it on your belt. This one is very comfy in the pocket and has replaced my Benchmade 705 as the every day carry.

Everything I need packed into a tiny, yet sturdy and well built tool.
Alright, so before I purchased this multi-tool, a lot of the reviews mentioned the carbon fiber being there for fashion and nothing else. I found that that is absolutely incorrect. The carbon fiber scale doesn't really minimize the weight, but it makes the grip much more comfortable when holding the carbon fiber side in the palm of you hand while doing some heavy duty plier gripping. They also mentioned that it was just trim, but in fact, there's a fat piece of carbon fiber being in the HAND SCALE! Say for instance how some knives have wooden scales (or what look like handles), but the main components are steel. They are just placed there for both the way tool or knife looks, but also the comfort and gripping.

Another complaint that I recently saw a video review about mentioned how the bit driver grinds into the palm of your hand, that's not much of a problem, even for my big hands, the mutli tool was made to hold the knife from the carbon fiber side! So, its actually quite comfortable in your hand.

I must admit though, the knife is smaller than I expected it to be in proportion with the tool, but alas, it's still a good size. The blade is really sharp and quality made, I'd say up in the league with Benchmade and Emerson. Although the carbon fiber serves no purpose while holding it in the knife function, the handle is still incredibly comfortable and stable to handle. The bit driver finally has a quick release locking mechanism which prevents play when the bits are in use. On my Charge XTi, it wasn't really practical to use for high torquing on my bikes Allen bolts. But the Skeletool CX is much stronger and can handle getting all your bike equipment securely screwed down. The bottle opener is amazing, I used to use a lighter to open a bottle of beer before I broke my arm, but for the time being, I'll have a nice bottle opener with me at all times.

Lastly, the whole plier mechanism. What a lot of reviewers mentioned the needle nose pliers having the ability to use them as tweezers is very true. This the first day of having my Skeletool, and my father already used it to remove a sliver in his finger. The needle nose is still slim enough (and better reinforced) to get into the tight areas where needle nose is applicable. The regular pliers seem just right, I haven't gotten a chance to use them yet, but they look like they'll be able to tackle most jobs you'd need them for. Then there's the wire cutters... Something no one has really mentioned in any review yet, and I have to say they work much better than on my Charge. I was able to cleanly cut and bend a paper clip with the hard wire cutter and cleanly cut a hollow q-tip with the soft wire cutter. The Charge always messed the cuts up >_>.

All in all, this is a great all around tool. It's for that minimal survivalist utilitarian in all of us. Its ultra light, it has only the tools that you'd actually use on a regular basis, and if you use your imagination it can fulfill many other applications. It's great for survival, every-day occurrences, a light tool for your bike (if your hubs and many other parts on your bike use Allen keys), and if it's the only knife you carry around for protection, it can still save your life in hand to hand combat. One more thing I'd like to address from a past review, someone was complaining that it's way too heavy for a hike or camping. This thing is barely noticeable and if anything, as I keep saying throughout this review, has the bear essentials.

Exactly what I need!
So after searching reviews for a good all around multi-tool for use at work I decided to go with the Skeletool CX. Now I am not a handyman but I do find myself needing a screwdriver or knife often during a regular work week. With that said this skeletool is exactly what I need, knife, flat/philips head screwdriver bits and pliers. It is not so much a stripped down version of other Leatherman models (I already own a PST, Wave and a mini-tool) but an enhanced version of the most commonly used tools in those models. It was a little stiff out of the package but after opening and closing it about 100 times it has a smooth operation. I also like that you can use the knife without having to open up the pliers. In short, if you are looking for a well balanced multi-tool with essential components look no further than the Skeletool CX!

I purchased this wrench at Menards on the clearance rack, (I didn't even know they had one) for 10$. I've used it several times, and have had no trouble. I realize the motor is a little weak, but it seemed to work for everything I would need. I don't do "dinky" work eathier. But I do understand some of the problems people have, but what do you expect from a adjustable, battery operated wrench. The handle is awkward, but it is helpful to adjust in tight spaces.

Very manly.

Flaky switch, design issues
I've only had this for a couple of months and used it less than a dozen times. The switch sometimes doesn't work. I have to take a battery out to get the light to go off. The placement of the switch is poor too. It's too easy to turn it on accidentally if I'm carrying it in a purse or backpack.

Excellent product. Works as advertised. Provides nice, clear, nonglare lighting of book page or of Kindle screen.

Aptly named, good reading light
I bought this light for my daughter, who I frequently catch with a book and a flashlight under her covers after bed time. I tried it out myself (in the dark) and can report that it has a lot of good attributes that are perfect for light-assisted reading.
- It is light-weight, but does not feel fragile.
- The batteries are common and are easy to change.
- The spring clamp holds tightly to a group of pages. It doesn't fall off or slide when turned upside-down.
- The wire neck also holds its position perfectly. It's very easy to adjust and stays precisely in place.
- The two-setting light is bright (on both settings) and a clean white color.

My two suggestions for improvement would be, first, to have a third LED in the head that is not a super LED and would put out less light. My eyes can adapt very well to the dark and both of the current settings are more than enough. And second, to increase the lever portion of the spring clamp a little so it is easier to de-clamp from the book. It has an odd feel since the lever end is almost right over the hinge/fulcrum.

Neither of these things are enough to detract from the fact that this is an excellent product and deserves a five star rating.

Good cooling, low noise. Watch out for space.
This Zalman "flower" aluminum cpu cooler was used to replace a small low-noise Nexus cpu cooler, which had become insufficient. The Zalman is much larger, has a big fan, and this allows it to run slower while providing plenty of cooling. Running slower means it is less noisy. My computer remains nice and cool. Because the fan is wider than the cpu, it cools the surrounding components as well, which is a plus.

Installation was a bit tricky, I had to remove the board from the case to replace the bracket with the one that comes with the Zalman. Not a big deal if you're not afraid of taking your computer apart.

It also comes with a wired remote control to adjust the speed of the fan, but I was too lazy to install it and run the wire to the front. Instead, I use the SpeedFan utility, which starts when I start the computer, and lower the fan to 50%. In retrospect, I should have spent the extra time to run the wire. Live and learn.

Great buy, I recommend it. Make sure it fits in your case, or course.

Really smooth
This is a very good heat sink. It's a little bit big but if you have a mid tower case you should not have problems installing it in your system. My CPU (AMD Athlon 64 bit 3.0 GHz 6000+) runs around 45 degrees Celsius without load and around 65 degrees under full load. According to fan speed the rpm is 2660 RPM!!. One more thing. Remember that i don't have ac in my room!!

If you where wondering if you can connect to CPU directly to the Mobo instead of connecting it to the speed controller well guess what you can.

Works well but not exactly whisper quiet.
I think this does a better job then the stock cooler, as it directs the heated air out the back of the case. One of the easier ones to install, took all of 5 min. One down side for me is the fan, while quiet, is not totally silent. But then I expect my PC to make no noise at all when it is running. Probably not the best choice for a HTPC. I think the price is a bit on the high side also.

Great CPU Cooler
Works Great. nice design, well built. Keeps CPU around 44-50C at full load. Install was very simple, just one clip that easily attaches to cpu mount on motherboard. Pretty big though, so I wouldnt recomend it to anyone without at least mid-size case.

Great CPU Cooler
OK, so I got my Zalman CNPS9500 AT in today and hooked this baby up and must say I'm impressed with the results. Since I'd already had a Zalman CPU cooler before (CNPS7700-AICu) installation was a breeze since I didn't have to remove the MB again.

It's not as big as the CNPS9700 (good), but it does its job well. The copper base came machined flat, very smooth and shinny. The fan is black in color and has no LED's.

As far as fan noise...quiet, quiet, quiet...even at load. Did I say quiet?

And speaking of the fan, one of the selling points for me was the fact that the cooler comes with a 4-pin Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) fan which allows the motherboard to automatically control the fan's speed. The fan draws power from a 4-pin fan header installed on many of the newer motherboards. This helps to keeps fan noise to a minimum as it will only ramp up when needed. As such, there is no fan mate is included with this CPU cooler. However, 4 pin PWM fans are backwards compatible with 3 pin fan headers...but, you would lose the ability to control the fan speed by plugging a 4 pin PWM into a 3 pin fan header. This is something to consider, especially if your MB does not have a PWM header. In that case, you'll need a cooler with a fan mate/controller to control the fan's speed; otherwise the fan will run at full throttle.

So does it work??? Well, it dropped my CPU temps at least 13C, if not more. No kidding. I have a Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz) B3 stepping which I had running at 2.66GHz with idle temps of around 59C in an Antec P182 case with stock fans. With 9500 AT installed, I'm now at 2.9gigs with idle temps of 46C, 75C load with prime 95 running. Some will say this is hot, others will say it's about right. Such is the CPU I have! And yes, this cooler IS rated for Quad Core Processors! Check Zalman's website!!!

If you're not into mega overclocking, don't want fan mates, or huge coolers, this is definitely worth looking into.

Positive: PWM fan, no fan mate, Quiet, sturdy (none of those dumb locking pins), and not too big.

Negative: None found, unless you want to count having to remove the MB for installation.

Overall: 100% satisfied.

It's Big and It's Quiet
I just completed the installation of this cooler. This is not a job for the feint of heart, it's pretty darn involved. If I hadn't spent about an hour rearranging and neating up my internal cables, the install would have taken around an hour or two.

The fan is not silent, but it is very quiet and has a much more pleasing lower tone than the original equipment Intel fan that came with this computer. So all in all, a very quiet, expensive sounding fan.

Make sure your case meets the specs for this monster. I installed this in a Sony Vaio RB series computer - the last generation of Sony desktop black boxes. The cooler fit with tons of room to spare. But this is an older big case.

The biggest hitch for installation, mounting the darn support bracket. Zalman's instructions are awesome. Very detailed, well written, and easy to follow. The problem I ran into, there was a metal support bracket for the OEM cooler. I thought that would make a great support (metal is always stronger and better than plastic). Trouble is, you can't use it. The threaded nuts on the metal bracket stood up too high for the cooler to actually seat on the CPU. So I actually had to partially remove the motherboard. That was much easier than expected - simply remove my interface cards and unscrew about 8 screws, slide the motherboard back and up, and there was plenty of space to work on the back side bracket.

The biggest problem I ran into was removing that metal bracket. Intel put in these plastic split rings to retain the bracket. You actually have to cut them apart to remove them. After that, clear sailing to the finish line.

The included thermal grease is basically one dose. Spread it over the CPU (I used a cut up credit card for a spreader). Once you start screwing down the fan, it will tend to rotate a bit. That's probably good to make sure the thermal grease is spread out evenly. Make sure you follow the instructions on tightening the screws - a little in front, a little in back until you have seated both screws. You don't want uneven pressure on that CPU chip.

Overall, I really like this cooler. I looks kind of neat with my blue LED fan behind it. Now it's on to playing some games to see how much noise this fan really doesn't make!

An update - I just ran my CPU (Pentium 4 3GHz) at 100% for around 8 hours. The CPU temperature went up 5 degrees F. The fan never got louder, it seemed to run at exactly the same speed the whole time. In fact my DVD drive, which used to get very hot, now only gets warm. This cooler has significantly improved airflow within my case and keeps the CPU very cool. I've come to like the sound from my computer (now the hard drive noise is starting to annoy me, that's how quiet this thing is).

Amazingly quiet
I installed this heatsink/fan yesterday, and I was blown away at how quiet it really is. It replaced the Thermaltake I had installed on my Core Duo which was intolerably loud (48+ dbA). Since the machine in question was a development box that was going to always be on, I needed to be able to hear myself think, not to mention sleep in the same room as the box. Thankfully, the Zalman is near silent when not under heavy CPU load.

Installing the sucker is time-consuming and tricky. Make sure you follow the directions carefully. Also, make sure your motherboard/case/power supply is compatible with this model. It's a very large heatsink. Check out Zalman's website for compatibility details.

Anyway, I highly recommend this cooling solution. It's worth every penny.

Quieter than my old fan
and keeps the CPU 10 degrees cooler! Wow. A little involved to install, as you have to completely disassemble your existing PC to replace the CPU fan, but no biggie if you are making a new PC.

I had it for like 4 months now i couldn't be happier before i was suffering from the heat and the noise of my old Intel fan , I really recommend this product for hard core Gamers . And i gave it 4 stars though because i was kind of disappointment that the fan wont work with-Out the Fan controller.

Wow, This is one hunk of copper! Runs about 150g more then rated board strength for AMD socket 462. So be extra careful when moving the CPU. Was quite pleased with The fast shipping, This GA-7DX© (2.2) was running 132 - 145 Deg. After installing Which requires total removal of the mother board, and mounting two base plates with a 4 hold MB, was tricky, you can't have any Capacitors taller than 15 mm (surprise)
or (0.59in) located under the CPU. This board was OK with that, but had a issue with the hold down clip and (1) a capacitor; the fan hold down clip has two holes on each side of the processor hold downs, this 2001 Millennia Max XP, clip cleared the power supply plug, but hit the capacitor next to the ram, but before I ran to Radio Shack, I removed the fan from the heat sink, and took the hold down clip to the shed, and cut off 1/8th " (HACK SAW REQUIRED) of the un-used second hole which would clear the capacitor. At that point- reassembly was required. the results were outstanding - CPU temp dropped 32 deg with Artic Silver 5. Over all - Would rate this as a Positive improvements @ $40 Bucks and 2 hours of time.

i am writing this review from the xperia: that's how much i've been using it lately, and that's how easy it is to use for typing, browsing, editing and reviewing important documents. the touch screen is great and the phone has a sturdy, heavy metalic feel that i personally love. but there ARE some shortcomings. You need to fiddle around with it BIGtime before you get its battery to perform decently. And the camera could be better (my old nokia n82 took far superior photos and even more so for video).

Overall a very impressive mini laptop disguised as a phone, a trend in design many others are already following, such as the n97. Running on WM 6.1 pro opens up the door for so many great programs, ive had it 5 days and ive downloaded 11 apps: audio recording, tweaking, barcode reading, chat, skype, facebook, media players, maps, gps, security, etc.

Best Cell Phone Out There
This is by far the best cell phone out there currently. I bought this phone about a week ago and was waiting for it for some time, but the wait was worth it.

The phone has many excellent features, such as:
o Multi band covering the whole world
o Full communication suite (BT, wireless, push email, Internet...) that is easy to setup
o Nice touch screen and nice panels, which can be developed by a normal user
o Office tools and applications
o and many more

Its features are better than many cell phones such as the HTC diamond, which is comparable to it, and is always said that this is an imitation of it. Moreover, it runs great and flawlessly.

The couple of things that I would like to be better are the speaker phone function, it just needs to be a little bit louder, and the multimedia player that comes with it, but again you can always buy third party applications that can cover all types of audio and video.

I'm extremely happy with the phone and recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Fully-loaded, functional and sleek, yet over-hyped, and certainly over-priced
I'll just list out the aspects of the phone. More convenient that way.

-Touchscreen: Not as responsive nor as user-friendly and intuitive as the iPhone, but definitely usable, stylus (which is provided), and finger-wise. Sharp, bright colors, with an auto-adjust function that works amazingly well, even in bright sunlight. Slightly recessed, so it does collect dust and other debris (which I found surprisingly annoying, since even lint easily picks up from my pocket), but overall, very attractive and usable.

-Windows Mobile 6.1: Though there are still some bugs, a marked improvement over the last version. The one really annoying aspect of the system is still the slow loading time, and the main nagging thing I noted is that there's a HUGE lag after text messaging, after the message informing you that the text was sent. The system freezes for a good 5-10 seconds, and won't let you do anything during that time frame. Mostly just annoying, though certainly not a detractor, especially if you don't text a whole lot.

-The keyboard: Spacious, despite the compactness, and slightly curved, with an assisted spring mechanism that feel very, very solid. The one qualm I have is that they keys are nearly flush with the tray, and the top row can be difficult to press, since it's nearly flush beneath the screen. Other than that, with some use, it's easy to get used to, and doesn't add bulk or awkward feeling to the phone, like some full QWERTY keyboards. The keys are also backlit, which is a nice touch, especially in shadowed or darkened areas.

-The keys: There's plenty of softkeys and shortcuts available, and they're very well-suited for the phone. There's an optical joystick (passing your finger over the surface allows you to scroll without physically pressing the top/bottom keys, or the screen), which also serves as an "OK" key. I really liked that addition to the phone, since I'm not a big trackball fan, and the sensitivity is customizable, since a too sensitive setting can sometimes lead to wrong commands. There's a dedicated panel key, which is somewhat like a home-screen key, since it takes you to the main panel selection every time. There are also dedicated phone keys, a toggle on the side for volume, and a power/sleep button on the top. They don't detract from the phone, and the only sticking point is that they're sometimes a bit stiff to press. Other than that, it's a nice, somewhat comforting feeling to have dedicated keys available, unlike the iPhone.

-The panels: These have been touted as, and are, really, the main attraction of the phone. They're are an interesting, very positive feature, since they're customizable (you can even move them around, though this has to be done through choosing a panel and editing it, instead of just dragging it across the screen, which would have been much more intuitive), and varied, and give the Windows system a more personal feel. They can be a bit laggy, but they're fun and functional (the fish panel is just amusing, with the ability of the fish to change color, follow the touch, or swim away if pressed), though I've yet to find a use for the Google page, since it always defaults to Internet Explorer, which I don't utilize.

-Internet browsing: Pretty snappy and speedy, even on the Edge network. The area in which I live doesn't support the 3G bands on this particular phone (I have the overseas Xi, while the U.S. will ship the Xia), though bigger cities with the 1900mHz towers do. I don't use Internet Explorer, since it's still one of the most useless and dated mobile browsers out there. The phone is shipped with Opera Mobile 9.5 installed, which works similarly to Safari on the iPhone, though thankfully the cut and paste options are available, unlike the iPhone. (Trust me, after you've given up that option, and then come back to it, you'll really notice the difference. Why Apple hasn't picked up on that yet, I'll never know...) There is also the option of downloading Skyfire, which works very well, sometimes faster than Opera. Both platforms support Flash, and display the full-page layout, like you'd see on your PC. Either way, pretty enjoyable experience there.

-Text/Multimedia Messaging: Windows finally incorporated the threaded conversation for text messaging, much like the iPhone did, creating a more "IM" feel to conversations, and making it much easier to keep track of specific conversations. It lags a bit, as mentioned prior, but a great improvement, without a doubt. It also does Multimedia messaging, and for that alone, in some ways, it is worth more than the iPhone, since Apple still refuses to include that basic function.

-Camera/Video/Music: The camera is 3.2 MP, a very decent camera, especially considering the phone size. It includes a flash, and can be adjusted for various speeds, colors, effects, etc. There is also a video-camera, which records up to 30fps, though only 24fps, I believe, for the American version. Why the difference, I couldn't say. The music player is easy to access (it has it's own panel), and there is also a Sony FM radio included, which is a nice touch, and easy to use, though only with the headphones included, since they act as an antennae, apparently. Still, very decent media package.

-Construction: I have the silver finish, which is really just stunning. It's very has a very durable, solid feel to it, though can be somewhat slippery, and feels very comfortable in the hand. The size in my opinion is perfect, compact and sleek, and though this means smaller screen size and somewhat cramped keys, it's really my favorite aspect of the phone. Has the old, comfortable handset feel of a Nokia candybar phone, actually. Sony really put a lot of thought and effort into it, and it shows.

-Other features: The 3.5mm headphone jack is WONDERFUL. I had a Sony a few years back, and the one sticking point that kept me from using it as a full-time MP3 player was the fact that I was supposed to use Sony's headphones. The fact that Sony has branched out, and incorporated the headphone jack, along with the capabilities for a Micro SD card slot (located on the side, when you remove the back cover), really shows that they're creating a platform which is more friendly to users who branch between companies. (Sony usually has their own M2 storage card, which is more pricey than the Micro SD.) Whether it lasts or not depends on their continued association with HTC, I suppose, who designed and helped create the physical phone. I suspect that if they next phone doesn't run Windows Mobile (which has been rumored), those features might disappear. Oh well. The fact that they're included on the Xperia is really a very nice, convenient touch. The phone also connected with the network very easily, loaded all the information, and formatted the phone, without any heavy programming from me, which was awesome.

Overall? Fantastic phone, with very reliable software, convenient system, sleek and sturdy construction, speedy network connections (even overseas), and plenty of opportunities for personal tweaks and modifications, given the open platform from Windows. I'd love to give it five stars, instead of the four, but the price was ridiculous, especially considering that it's really just another Windows Mobile smartphone, albeit better-looking and more personal than some others. Still, it's without a doubt my favorite phone to date, when combining the ease of use and construction appeal. Well worth buying, if you can burn the money.

another inferior HTC/Qualcomm product
Easy to Google for benchmarks and details, as with the Tilt, this is another HTC/Qualcomm device with well-documented, inferior multimedia capabilities compared to other (Samsung, LG, Toshiba, Apple, Nokia) devices. Current Qualcomm cpus have been well-documented to be slower than even circa 2002-2003 PocketPC devices when it comes to multimedia. It's unfortunate a class-action law suite hasn't panned out.

Even with the poorly received CLIE NX/UX keyboards, Sony hasn't improved their design.

It also doesn't help that this device was delivered with cracks in the casing so the whole first-batch of the US launch was recalled. Now what was a Nov 28, 2008 launch has been "back-ordered" until January, 2009.

Good quality cables

Does as advertised.
It does what it's supposed to do without diminishing the overall quality I would get without it.

Doesn't improve anything visually that I can notice, just gives me a cheap component cable for the Wii.

I wouldn't bother with it if you don't actually need the component cable for your home system.

This product works well and is inexpensive. I didn't have a problem with the original 480i connection and honestly don't see a big difference, but I didn't spend time making a direct comparison. I bought a new TV and needed this type of setup.

Work, but SHORT battery life
This set of controllers/charging station *work*, but they only hold a charge for about an hour before dying. Worth the $10 I paid for them, but not a penny more. You're better off buying a set of rechargeable AAs

I don't understand how this would be 160ish? Is this the right price or just messed up on amazon's part? If that's so then the Dual charger station from Nyko would definitely be alot better. Jesus.

Does the job for a fair price.
This cable does what it says. Not a lot to share on this, but the quality seems decent. I can't say I've noticed a huge improvement over using the video cable that comes standard with the Wii, but I needed S-Video due to the particular set up of my system (an existing S-Video switch box running to my video projector) and the cables does the job.

UPDATE 5 STARS They replaced the item.
I bought this for my son's birthday. He opened it and it looked fine. I put the cover on the controller and the seam ripped (about 3 inches) between the light green and dark green. Amazon will not provide a refund because it was supplied through Eforcity. I have sent Eforcity an email to find out about the refund policy and I am awaiting a reply.
***** UPDATE ***** They sent me a reply email telling me they would send a replacement. The replacement arrived a few days later. I did not have to return the broken product. The replacement is great. 5 STARS for product and good customer service. AMAZON - How do I change the star rating?

Great case!
The Wii remote and nunchuk grips do not "snap on," rather they slide on like a silicone skin (which the product title also mentions). The material is flexible and molded perfectly to fit the wii remote and nunchuk. I especially like the little bumps along the skin, which are subtle enough so that you don't notice them, but they also enhance the grip.

Pretty simple - just as good as the "official" cable...just a whole lot less money. And this IS just as good as the "official" cable - and your Wii will look a WHOLE lot better with progressive scanning.

480P wu who
Slight dif in resolution, nothing great. Would only recommend for people need AVI spots for other hardware.

good cable for price
Minor imperfections in display. I don't notice it very often. It will open up the possibility for 480p on your Wii. If you have the money you might want to get the official Nintendo one just to make sure there's no imperfections but for the price this cable works fine.
