Great product, great price - BUT BEWARE of Amazon shipping bait and switch
I usually order this through WaterFilterFast.com but decided to give amazon a shot since I had Prime with free shipping. I got this item as expected with 2nd day air shipping. Exactly what I needed when I needed it.
Now onto the problem I have with amazon shipping... The Rock Band order fiasco. I found Rock Band for PS2 in local stores for $150 or more. I decided to check Amazon and was please to see that it was $99. SCORE - and with Prime, I would get it OVERNIGHT for only $3.99 more. I ordered Rock Band on December 27th through Amazon prime. I paid the extra money for the "OVERNIGHT" shipping option so that it would arrive BEFORE New Years Eve (as it was planned for a party). It was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday December 30th (since the order took place over the weekend)which would have left PLENTY of time.
HOWEVER - AMAZON's useless shipping department did not send this package overnight-as I paid for. They instead decided that UPS ground would suffice since it was shipping within the same zone. HERE is the problem with this fraudulent practice - UPS, like any other shipper prioritizes it packages based on actual shipping service purchased. Since this item was a GROUND package, it sat on the truck ALL day and ultimately was returned to the distribution center AFTER 7:00 PM. Also, since it was GROUND, it did not go out for delivery on the following day (12/31) since this was a limited service day for air packages only. AGAIN, if Amazon had shipped it properly, it would have been delivered on 12/31. REMEMBER I PAID for OVERNIGHT service.
THIS WATER FILTER ITEM proved that the shipping problem was caused by Amazon's practice of not properly handling a shipment. This order was placed with Amazon prime on MONDAY 12/29. Since it was not urgent, I opted for the FREE 2nd Day delivery. This package actually shipped via 2nd day air (as expected) and due to class of serivce (air) it was delivered on 12/31 (the holiday). It is now FRIDAY 1/2 and I still have not yet rec'd my Rock Band order. IT WILL BE REFUSED WHENEVER IT IS FINALLY DELIVERED as I bought the exact same product from Walmart on Wednesday morning for the SAME PRICE.
I complained to Amazon about this and the best they would do is refund my shipping and offer me $5.00 off my NEXT purchase. Why would I purchase from them again after this terrible experience.
In summary - BEWARE OF THE SHIPPING Bait and Switch! Use Amazon's site for your research and Customer Shopping BuZZ. If you like the item and want to buy it, see if you can get it local for the same deal - if so TAKE IT. Don't trust Amazon's shipping dept. or expect good customer service! If they keep this up - they will go the way of SO MANY companies today and be gone in a heartbeat.

There really isn't much more to say. The right product came in good fashion and in good condition.
BEWARE, THIS FILTER POLLUTES WATER
I bought set of 3 filters from Amazon about 2 month ago and immediately installed one filter into my fridge. After a few days of usage my wife pointed my attention that water coming out the fridge contains tiny, almost invisible flakes. I think it some sort of internal filtering staff coming out of the filter. I tried to use another filter from the set with the same result - flakes. Just think for a second those flakes are actually some sort of chemically active reagents and we have to drink that water!!!

The Amana/Maytag (Maytag recently purchased Amana) PuriClean II Filter (formerly Amana Clean 'n Clear Filter 12589208) fits all Amana refrigerators with a retractable water filter that pulls down from the ceiling of the fridge. It replaces the following part numbers: WF50, OWF51, 12589208, 12589210, 12589203, 12589206, UKF8001AXX, WF50-NI300, WF50-KNI300, WF50-NI500, WF50-WI500, WF50-KWI500, OWF50-WI500, OWF50-NI300, 67003526, 67003527, 67003528, Sears Kenmore 46-9005 & 46-9006 (used in Kenmore refrigerators with model numbers starting with 596 - these fridges are made for Kenmore by Amana), and Whirlpool/Kitchenaid 4396395 (used in the new Kitchenaid Bottom Freezer models with interior water dispensers).
